" Our yacht 'Sirandane', a Beneteau 44 was repaired
by the OSMO-SYS method to our complete satisfaction: the hull underwent
a full repair job in the month of November 2000. The
work, which included peeling to the required depth, surface
grinding, laminating two layers of CSM with Derkane epoxy
vinylester resin, applying vinylester fairing creme, fairing and
sanding to paint finish, was done in a timely fashion. We would recommend Alan Dodd's company for any boat with osmosis."

" We used Gelpac Enterprises to peel
the bottom of our boat recently. We are quite pleased with the
way the job turned out. The surface is very smooth and even and
was done efficiently. Alan Dodds was quite professional in
dealing with us. He is very knoweledgable about osmosis repair
and gave us some valuable information about how we could repair our
particular osmosis problem. It was a pleasure to do business with
him."

"After our arrival in NZ, it was our intention to
have our 41' Jeanneau yacht 'Itaipu' checked for osmosis. Alan
from OSMO-SYS came and machined some "windows" into the coatings and
laminate: we recorded a high degree of humidity despite the fact that
the hull was relatively free of big blisters. This method enabled
us to make our decision before osmosis reached a bad level. At
this point, we really appreciated the professional approach of Alan who
never "pushed" for a treatment and even pointed out that we could wait
for a couple of years before doing anything. After reviewing the
technical procedure and payment breakdown with Alan, we went for the
full treatment. The "peeling" of the hull was done the following
days and we were surprised how smooth the final surface was. Alan
came on regular basis to check the moisture content. With the
help of the good weather, our boat was clean and dry relatively quick
(3-4 months). The reconstruction part was carried out very
efficiently. Despite my pressuring for a quick return in the
water to enjoy sailing in NZ, Alan never compromised the quality of the
job and followed his schedule (weather permitting, of
course). Throughout all the job, we really appreciated the
friendly but professional contacts we had with each member of OSMO-SYS
team. We thank them all once again for their job and their
dedication."

"After deciding that the gel-coat
blisters on my Raven 31 yacht 'Knight Raven' needed attention and
enquiring around for a suitably qualified firm I engaged Gel-Pac
Enterprises Ltd of Whangarei to peel the affected layers, relaminate,
and refair the bottom to the stage ready for painting. Alan and
his team are obviously very experienced in this work, and after
watching them relaminating the bottom I was convinced the job was
certainly one best left to the professionals. They have produced
a result which I am very happy with."

"To anyone with osmosis problems on their fibreglass
vessel and who is considering having their boat peeled and
re-fibreglassed we have no hesitation in recommending the services of
OSMO-SYS. They undertook this work on our 36' Ian Anderson vessel
and the hull was peeled below the waterline. The hull was allowed
to dry out to less than 5% moisture level. It was then
relaminated with two layers of chopped strand matt applied wet on wet
with vinylester resin. It was coated with vinylester filler and
finally coated with vinylester fairing primer to accept further coats
of epoxy undercoat as required. The work was carried out very
efficiently using up to date dust extraction systems and modern
equipment, with the least possible inconvenience whilst we were still
living onboard. We are very pleased with the final result and we
have every confidence that this will last for many years to come and
the investment will reflect in the boats saleable value."

"In November 2000 the underwater full area of my 31ft
launch was restored by Gel-Pac Enterprises using the OSMO-SYS method of
osmosis repair. This comprised machine peeling the hydrolised wet
glass from the hull and replacing with two layers of glass and
vinylester resin. The surface was then faired and sanded ready
for painting. I observed the entire operation and noted that the
standard of workmanship was excellent. It was a pleasure to deal
with Alan Dodds and his team and based on my experience I would
recommed his company to any boat owner requiring this service."
